Adopting RFID and fingerprint identification technology, crane man-machine mutual recognition terminal identifies the safety management personnel and operating personnel of the crane and controls crane operations. Applying advanced Internet of Things technology and wireless transmission technology to crane mechanical operations management and inspection, the terminal reinforces qualification and duty management of operating personnel, offering new technical means to effectively restrict uncertified crane operations and non-complying operations.

The terminal divides the crane personnel into three categories: managers, repairers and operators.

The original status of the system will remain locked or unlocked. When it´s powered on, the card reader will continuously read the information of RFID card. The crane can´t be operated before the equipment verification of RFID card and fingerprint. When the RFID card is removed in operation, the equipment will automatically stop 20s later. When the RFID card is inserted and fingerprint identification started, the equipment will automatically allocate different functions according to different powers:

Powers of Managers—Locking, unlocking, switching out, switching on, etc.

Powers of Repairers—Locking, unlocking, etc.
